Halloween Candy Tin

Fall is officially here!!! Yahoo!!  I love it… the “not too warm” days and the cool nights.  I always want to kick back and stamp this time of year.  Ok, so I always want to kick back and stamp… any time of year, but I specially love to stamp and scrapbook it in the fall.  I thought I’d kick off the new season with a new website design.  I hope you like the new colors and layout.  Leave a comment to let me know what you think.

I’ve been preparing projects for my Halloween/Fall stamp camp next week so I’ve been designing various Halloween treat containers.  I love this one.  It is a little metal tin from The Angel Company.  I filled it with candy corn and wrapped it with ribbon.  I used a pumpkin sticker from my local discount store to make the tag and a current GWP (Gift With Purchase) stamp from The Angel Company to make the “Halloween” tag.  It was super easy.  It took all of 10 minutes to make.  The tin is 2-1/2 x 1 inches and holds about 2 handfuls of candy.  Perfect treat for your little trick-o-treater… or big trick-o-treater.  They come in a pack of 4 for $5.95… very reasonable.  Click on my TAC website ( and pick up a few.  They would also be great to use for little Christmas gifts for teachers, class parties, co-workers… the list is endless.

Until next time, Keep Stamping!

Changing Seasons Greeting Card

This was another great project from my stamp camp last Tuesday.  I know I’ve said it a dozen times, but I LOVE FALL and I LOVE this card.  I used paper from the Winchester Cardstock Collection and the stamp sets Good Timber and It’s the Little Things from The Angel Company.

In celebration of the coming Fall, I am offering a free Angel Company catalog to the next 10 customers who purchase 3 items or more from my Etsy site…… no minimum dollar amount.  Just mention this post in the comment/messages section during check out when you make your Etsy purchase.  I’ve listed this card on my Etsy site.  If you like it follow the link and see what else you can find.

Happy Haunting Halloween Treat Bags

I made these cute treat bags a couple of days ago in preparation for a stamp camp I had Tuesday.  They are made with one of my favorite halloween sets from The Angel Company called Happy Haunting.   They are pretty straight forward… a cello bag topper and cardstock wrapped around a cello bag.  I used the circle coluzzle to cut the circle in the project above.

My next stamp camp is scheduled for September 30 at 12 noon.  The project themes will focus on Halloween and Autumn.  I can’t wait.  Fall is my favorite time of year.  Email me at if you’d like to register.  The cost is $10.00 for 3 projects.

The Shop & Crop Make-N-Take

The Mount Comfort Methodist Church Shop and Crop went very well and was tons of fun!!  I met so many new friends.  I wanted to unveil the assembled make-n-take I brought to share.  I visioned it as a lovely little bookmark, but several of my new friends gave plenty of other uses for it… such as a gift tag, a scrapbook page accent, or the top layer of a greeting card.

There were several vendors there with make-n-take projects, but I ended up only having time to do 2 of them.  This cute little autumn treat bag was offered by Darcy Cooper, a Breezy Designsconsultant.  I had not heard of them before this shop and crop.  She had nice scrapbooking kits and paper crafting supplies and was a great gal to talk with.  She had tons of great ideas.

This next one was offered by a really nice gal named Beth Barnett who is a consultant for My Creative Life.  This company was also new to me.  They also offer really neat scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies.

I really enjoyed myself.  And, best of all, it was for a great cause.
