I’m attending a bridal shower this evening for my aerobics instructor. She is a really sweet gal who really makes me work. I wanted to make a little something she could use so I made a set of these lovely cards to give as part of my gift. The inside says, “Thank you very much”. This design is a combination of 2 earlier designs I made called Spring Flowers and Elegant Bride and Groom. I used The Angel Company’s cardstock collection Amberley Grace. It is a beautiful, elegant cardstock collection and it coordinates perfectly with these dimensional stickers. The satin ribbon ties it all together… literally and figuratively. 🙂
We had a great time at time at my stamp camp Tuesday. Here is one of the cards we made. I got the original design from a fellow Angel, Barb Foster. Thank you, Barb for the inspiration and sharing.
I used glossy cardstock for the card base and stamped the top half with various flowers from the stamp set Petal Pack from The Angel Company. I used the Palette Ink colors Raw Sienna, Reflection Blue, and Belle Rose. I used patterned cardstock from the Sands of Time Collection for the bottom half of the card and tied a coordinating pink ribbon around the middle. I made my own tag by using an 1 inch circle punch and stamping “hello” from the stamp set Trendy Greetings. I added a silver brad and attached it to the card using a mini safety pin. The “die cut” in the middle of the card is a flower from Petal Pack stamped on white cardstock and colored in with a blender pen using Belle Rose ink. I adhered it to the card front using Pop Dots for added dimension.

Here is a small sneak peak at one of the four projects we will be doing at this month’s stamp camp.
I covered 2 miniatures candy bars with scrapbook paper from The Angel Company’s Gentle Beginnings Collection. I then tied a piece of embroidery floss around them and placed them in a small cello bag. I made the topper using white cardstock and a piece of paper from the same paper collection. I stamped “Sweets for my sweet” and the candy pieces from The Angel Company Stamp Set Little Cupcake on white cardstock and colored them with colored pencils. I adhered the candy pieces with Pop Dots to give them dimension.
It is a super easy project. You won’t want to miss out on all the fun next Tuesday, April 14th.
Floral Vines Candle
This beautiful candle was designed by a fellow Angel, Laurie Willison. It was so adorable I just had to share it with you. It is so simple and easy to do. Just stamp a piece of cardstock and wrap it around a votive. Add whatever embellishments you’d like. These would make great hostess gifts for all the upcoming easter celebrations. She used the current stamp set of the month from The Angel Company called Floral Vines.
Thank you, Laurie, for the inspiration!
