I posted this card last year but I love it and decided to make a couple more again this year to send out to a couple of new friends. Can you tell me how I changed it slightly? I am also going to submit it into challenge #63 at Case Study. It is another cool site who offers weekly inspirational rubber stamping challenges.
The stamps and papers used to make this card where all from the retired stamp company The Angel Company.
We are getting closer and closer to Halloween. I am trying to continue my challenge of posting every day until Halloween. Today’s post is a simple card. I love this vintage, naughty witch. I made this card to sit beside the punch bowl at a Halloween party. The sentiments and the circle design are from Papertrey Ink, but I don’t know where the lovely witch is from. If you do, please let me know.
My friend Darcy showed me this cute little Halloween treat bag. I just had to make one for myself (not sure who I’m going to give this one to). How much simpler can you get? Easy peasy for those last-minute class treats. The kids can even do it all themselves. 🙂 I used glue dots to adhere the googly eyes. Stamped the sentiment on white cardstock with black ink and mounted it on green cardstock then adhered it to the bag with double stick tape. I folded the top backwards and sealed it with tape. Fill with candy and then you’re done within 5 minutes… tops!
The stamped sentiment is from a retired stamp set from The Angel Company.
Since this is the week before Halloween, I am going to have a week of Halloween projects. I will kick the week off with this witchy women. I love this witch from the Stampinbella line of stamps. I made her in mind for a submition into a marker challenge from 4 Crafty Chicks and a spooky challenge at Divas by Design. Both are very creative blogs that hosts weekly challenges. This week Crafty Chicks was devoted to coloring. I think my witch is just fabulous! I used DCWV cardstocks and Copic markers for coloring. I hi-lited her dress in several areas with Stickles. The photo doesn’t really pick up her sparkle. The sentiment “Best Witches!” is from Stampin’ Up! I plan on sending this card to my new friend Emily S. She was with me when I was coloring my witch.
I am having so much fun with my A Muse Studio stamps!! I invite you to join me at any time. I made this card today using the set Life is a Song. The ribbon is the stitched grosgrain in Ocean and the cardstock is Ocean and Onyx Shimmer Damask. I am in LOVE with the Damask Shimmer cardstock. It is so beautiful. It looks very elegant. You must get a package as soon as possible. A Muse has it in several different colors. I’d be happy to be your supplier. 🙂 Call or email today.
I got my A Muse Studio starter kit in the mail a couple of days ago. It is full of WONDERFUL items. Perfect for the new and the seasoned stamper. It is such a great value at its normal price but now at the current promotional price of $99 it is almost a steal! You can’t beat this deal.
I’ve been trying to find time to create a few things but with the kids’ schedule I haven’t found much time. This card is from A Muse Studio. With being a new demonstrator they give you tons of support and help to start a new business. This is a demo card and everything to make it is included in your starter kit. So I made it tonight and it turned out so cute. I’ve made a few other things but I am saving them to be revealed at Friday’s stamp camp. Can’t wait to see you there. Also, don’t hesitate to call or email with any questions about starting your own A Muse Studio business. I’d love to have you on my team.
