Gift Box Christmas Card

stamped-items-004

I finally finished my personal Christmas cards today.  With all that is going on this time of year I needed something simple and easy.  My inspiration for this card was from a dear friend and fabulous artist, Lesley Retherford.  She sent a card like this to me 2 Christmases ago using Stampin’ Up! products.  I wanted to post the original card also, but I’ve searched and searched my card storages and cannot find it.  😦   It is very easy to make.  I used a piece of patterned cardstock and a coordinating tag from Merry Wishes by The Angel Company.  I cut a piece of scrapbook paper to 4 x 5-1/4 inches, wrapped ribbon around it to look like a bow on a gift package and added a designed tag.  I adhered the layer to a Scarlet cardstock card base.  You should really try this quick and easy card.

Card ingredients:

Stamps:  Trendy Greetings (The Angel Company)

Cardstock:  Merry Wishes, Premium White, Scarlet (The Angel Company)

Ink:  L’Amore Red and Noir Palette Ink

Accessories:  green grosgrain ribbon, Pop Dots

Falling Snow Christmas Card

Cardstock:  Blue 3, Premium White (The Angel Company) and Brillian Blue (Stampin’ Up!)

Ink:  Beaux Arts Blue Palette Ink (The Angel Company)

Accessories:  white ribbon, silver brad, silver jewelry pin, 1-7/8 inch square scallop punch, 1-3/8 inch square punch, 1/16 whole punch, Pop Dots (The Angel Company), Snowflake punch (Stampin’ Up!)

Simple and Elegant Chrismas Card

stamped-items-001

This simple little card was made using The Angel Company’s Reece 12×12 Cardstock Collection.  The 2 patterned papers were cut  into strips and mounted onto the red pattern paper leaving a slight space around and between them.  The assembled pieces were mounted onto a card base of Natural cardstock measuring 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 inches.  I stamped “Tis the Season” on the Natural cardstock using L’Amore Red Palette Ink.  I cut around the stamped image and adhered it to the card using Pop Dots.  I applied crystal Stickles to random areas of the image to give it a touch of sparkle.  I stamped “celebrate” in the same red ink and “voila”!  It’s done!

Card ingredients:

Stamps:  Holiday Magic, Laughter (The Angel Company)

Cardstock:  Reece 12×12 Cardstock Collection, Natural Cardstock (The Angel Company)

Ink:  L’Amore Red Palette Ink

Accessories:  Crystal Stickles and Pop Dots

Penguin Christmas Card

stamped-items-003

I made this cute little card for the Christmas Stamp-a-Stack last month.     I used the stamp set Perky Penguins from The Angel Company.  I used Liquid Applique sprinkled with glitter on the santa hat.  Every time I see these little guys I think of my dear friend, Courtney, who has loved penguins every since she was a little girl.  This card is dedicated to her.

Card Ingredients:

Stamps: Perky Penguins, Holiday Liners  (The Angel Company)

Cardstock:  Blue 1, Scarlet, Premium White (The Angel Company)

Ink: Noir Palette Ink (The Angel Company)
