Floral Vines Candle

This beautiful candle was designed by a fellow Angel, Laurie Willison.  It was so adorable I just had to share it with you.  It is so simple and easy to do.  Just stamp a piece of cardstock and wrap it around a votive.  Add whatever embellishments you’d like.  These would make great hostess gifts for all the upcoming easter celebrations.  She used the current stamp set of the month from The Angel Company called Floral Vines.

Thank you, Laurie, for the inspiration!

Reece Quote Magnet

Here is another “make and take” from The Angel Company.  It is a most simple project.  It is basically made with cardstock scraps.   The base is made using the Reece 12×12 Cardstock Collection and the Reece Cardstock.  The green base measures 3-3/8 x 4 inches and is edged with Sea Breeze Versamagic Ink.  The icy blue layer measures 2-3/4 x 3-1/2 inches.  The Reece patterned piece measures 3-7/8 x 2 inches.  (Layer and adhere according to picture.)  I stamped the image from Victorian Elements on a manila shipping tag (measuring 3-1/8 x 2-3/8 inches) using Sea Breeze Versamagic Ink.  Then I stamped the the quote from Be Happiness using Noir Palette Ink directly on top of the stamped ornamental image.  I threaded wire through the button holes and the flower and attached it to the tag using glue dots.  The tag was then adhered to the base layers.  Finally, a self-adhesive magnet strip was added to the back.

Pregnancy Congrats Greeting Card

I am feverishly getting ready for The Angel Company’s Escape.  I leave for San Antonio in 2 days.  Besides my normal daily responsibilities of family and work, I have been packing and making cards to trade at the event.  This is congrats card is my trade.  It is made with the Lilly Anna cardstock line.  I love this “paper doll” technique… cutting patterned cardstock to make the clothing.  Her shirt is cut from Lilly Anna patterned cardstock and the rest of her outfit is colored with pencils.  I used Crystal Stickles to add sparkle to the flowers on her hat and purse.

All material from The Angel Company. Click on the links below to purchase the material to make this cute little card.

Angelee Mini Notebook, Journal, or Diary

I’ve had the Angelee Collection from The Angel Company for a month now.  I’ve been wanting to create something with it, but hadn’t found the time until today.  This notebook was originally a boring, mini composition book.  It measures 3-1/2 x 4-1/2 inches.  It’s the perfect size for your purse or hand bag.  I turned it into the darling notebook you see pictured here using the Angelee 12×12 cardstock collection, the Angelee Ribbon and a green Princess brad.  That’s it!  Oh, of course, I used YES paste to glue it all together and Pop Dots to adhere the tag to the front.  I covered the front and back in the striped cardstock and the inside front and back cover in the lavender cardstock.  The tag is from the coordinating tag sheet in the Angelee Cardstock Collection.  The Angel Company makes it so easy for you… all the cardstocks, ribbons, tags, etc. coordinates with each other (all at an affordable price).  The word ” Notes” was stamped with a retired stamp set from Stampin’ Up!  This was a super easy project.  The only time spent really was the wait for the glue to dry.

If you’d like to own it or know someone who’d love it as a gift, but you don’t have the time to make it yourself, I’ve listed it for sale on my Etsy site.  I’ve also listed other notebooks and new greeting cards.  Here is the link… www.kandyskeepsakes.etsy.com  Pop over and take a look at what’s new.
