I was inspired today to create some new bookmarks. I used large craft sticks (tongue depressors) and covered them using Zip Dry Paper Glue in the Maggie Cardstock Collection from The Angel Company. I used the Crop-a-dile to punch a hole in one end for the rhinestone brads. They turned out super cute.
We had a great time at time at my stamp camp Tuesday. Here is one of the cards we made. I got the original design from a fellow Angel, Barb Foster. Thank you, Barb for the inspiration and sharing.
I used glossy cardstock for the card base and stamped the top half with various flowers from the stamp set Petal Pack from The Angel Company. I used the Palette Ink colors Raw Sienna, Reflection Blue, and Belle Rose. I used patterned cardstock from the Sands of Time Collection for the bottom half of the card and tied a coordinating pink ribbon around the middle. I made my own tag by using an 1 inch circle punch and stamping “hello” from the stamp set Trendy Greetings. I added a silver brad and attached it to the card using a mini safety pin. The “die cut” in the middle of the card is a flower from Petal Pack stamped on white cardstock and colored in with a blender pen using Belle Rose ink. I adhered it to the card front using Pop Dots for added dimension.

My Valentine’s Day stamp camp is scheduled for this afternoon and here is a sneak peek of the table favor for each attendant.
I used an empty plastic clam shell that The Angel Company packages their stamp sets in. I always have so many of these empty cases lying around so I thought I would recyle them and make these simple treat boxes. I was inspired by a similar treat box that my upline Marisa Alvarez showed me last year. I used the retired TAC stamp set Heart-itude, filled it with heart shaped red hots and tied a ribbon around the box. Supper simple!
Not only will my guests receive this sweet filled box, they will also receive a complimentary copy of the new magalogue from The Angel Company, Serendipity!
I’m still busy making cards, notebooks, beaded jewelry, etc for Saturday’s craft show in the Brownsburg, IN Walmart. This is one of the cards I made today. I used the set Fanciful Flowers from The Angel Company. The sparkly mesh is self adhesive dry wall tape with ultra fine glitter poured over it. The photo does not catch the true “glittery essence” of the card so hopefully you will come out Saturday to see it. To reward your efforts to view this lovely card, I am going to give a free stamped gift to each person who mentions he or she has seen my website. You can’t pass up a free gift. See you then! 🙂
All supplies (except dry wall tape) are from The Angel Company.
