Grandmother’s Patches Beaded Bracelet

I’ve been busy the last couple of days making jewelery… mostly bracelets and earrings.  I saw these beads the other day and had to have them.  They remind me of the patches from the quilts my grandmother has made and taught me to make.  So I have aptly named this bracelet “Grandmother’s Patches” and made the very first one for my grandmother.  She loved it.

I’ve made several others and listed them on my Esty site… kandyskeepsakes.etsy.com.  If you want one you can click this link or the picture above to be directed to the listing for this bracelet.  I’ve listed several other bracelets so make sure you take a look at all of them. 🙂

Fairies In Disguise

I absolutely love dragonflies!  Did you know that they are fairies in disguise?

I just had to share my latest beaded bracelet.  It measures 6-1/2 inches long.  I used metal dragonflyand pink glass beads to create the bracelet.  I created the dangle charm using the the same pink beads and metal dragonfly wings.  I arranged them on a headpin and slightly curved the end to simulate a dragonfly in flight.

I picked up the metal dragonfly wings from a fabulous little beading store located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin called Beadology.  They have a large variety of beads and jewelry making components and many great samples displayed to inspire you.  Plus, the shop’s atmosphere is very welcoming.  You can purchase your items and then go back to the work room to start creating you masterpiece.  I’d highly recommend stopping by Beadology if you’re in the Lake Geneva area.  But if you can’t get there physically, here is the link to the stores website http://www.beadology-lakegeneva.com/

You can visit my Etsy store if you’re interested in seeing more of my beaded creations.

Dragonfly Beaded Necklace

Here is another little sneak peek of a necklace that I made for this Saturday’s craft show.  I’m getting so excited!!  It is made with glass and metal beads.  The dragonfly is metal and approximately 1 inch long.  The disc behind the dragonfly is a cut sea shell.  This necklace measures about 18 inches and is beautiful, if I do say so myself. 🙂  You’ll just have to see it in person.  Remember, the craft show is this Saturday (June 21st) in the Walmart parking lot in Brownsburg, IN.  Hope to see you there.

Pink Rose Beaded Bracelet

I’ve decided to participate in a craft show this next Saturday, June 21st.  It will be located in the Walmart parking lot in Brownsburg, IN.  The entry fee proceeds are going to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.  This was a last minute decision so I’ve been busy this weekend getting stuff together.  I’m planning on selling my beaded jewelry and stamped greeting cards. It is the first time I have participated in a craft show so it’s all new territory.  I am making lists and checking them twice, but I just know that I’m going to forget something.  If any one has any suggestions for me please email me.  kandy@kandyskeepsakes.com  In the mean time, here is one of my beaded bracelets.  It is made with pink crackle glass and metal rose beads with a toggle closure.
