I made several new Halloween Cards and listed them on my Etsy site. This is one of my favorites. I used printed and solid colored cardstock from DCWV. I stamped the raven (source unknown) and the tag sentiments (from Papertrey Ink) in black ink. It just goes to show what you can make with a few layers of cardstock, ink and a couple of stamps. 🙂
Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead
I saw this today on the blog Holiday Snob and just had to share it with you. I just LOVE the Wizard of Oz (and sometimes feel the Witch of the West got the short end of the broom stick). 🙂 The directions to make it are pretty easy. I may just have to make a pair to sit on my front porch under my door bell.
Here is a little sneak peek of one of the projects for tonights stamp camp. Can’t wait to see you all.
I am also preparing for tomorrow’s Ladies Pampering Event at my church, New Brunswick Church of Christ. We are having a day of pampering and relaxation… a special guest speaker, facials, masages, lunch and of course, stamping! 🙂 The event runs from 10:30 to 2:30 PM. I encourage you to make it. I am putting together a cute “make and take” and having a raffle drawing for free admission into one of my stamping events. I will post the winner here on Monday morning.
Here is another mini composition notebook I covered with Martha Stewart printed cardstock and diecuts. I just love this collection of Halloween papers! I’ve also listed this one and several other ones in my Etsy shop.
The weather has cooled. I’m back on my feet after this long summer of recuperating and this kids are back in school. AHHH, fall is here! I’m getting the feeling for Halloween. To kick off the season I created this spooky journal. I used a mini composition notebook and covered it with cardstock by Martha Stewart Holidays printed to look like blood spatters. I then adhered a vampire and grave stone diecut from the same Martha Stewart collection. For a finishing touch I tied black and red ribbons around the spine. If you don’t want to make one for yourself you can find this one listed in my Kandy’s Keepsakes Etsy site.
Well, not this card. This card was designed by my good friend, Jennifer Edwards. (I’ve displayed several of her works of art here before.) She was a guest at my September Stamp Camp. I designed a Halloween card using the exact same cardstocks and stamps and she told me immediately it was “too busy” and proceeded to change the design. And she was totally right!! 🙂 I LOVE how she changed it! Mine was too “busy”. (See card below.) Thanks, Jennifer! Keep Stamping!!
