As I have mentioned, a couple of months ago TAC closed it’s doors and is no longer in business. It was very sudden and left me searching for a new company to join. After thinking long and hard about it, I decided to join A*muse Studio. Some of you might be familiar with A*muse Studio as their rubber art stamps used to be available in retail stores. They have recently changed their business model and now offer their product through home demonstrators only. Which is a great opportunity for me because they have fabulous products.
I am really excited about this new adventure; A*muse Studio has a wonderful line of stamps, papers, paper crafting tools and accessories. Here are a few of the things I really love:
- Wonderful cling mount stamps that are pre cut, and indexed on the foam! These stamps are ready to use the moment they arrive!! NO CUTTING required!!
- DVD storage cases labeled with an index and the name of the set on the spine…compact and organized storage!
- Fun Dies and Embossing Plates!! These are reasonably priced and made in the USA!
- Luxury Wool Felt, Not your Grandma’s BAGS of Buttons, Matching YUMMY Ribbons and Bakers Twine, oh my!
- Really lovely Papers -most are available in assorted packs so you don’t have to buy 25 of each color– but you can. :).
- Amazing Inks, in loads beautiful colors – all with matching paper! That makes card making a breeze!
I could go on and on, you just need to see for yourself. You can click the logo or image above and be directed to my A*muse website. Another great feature from A*muse is that their catalogs are fully available on-line. You can browse through page by page right from you computer. Why wait for my next stamp camp go check it out NOW! 🙂
Happy Valentine’s Day!!
I hope you are taking time to show your loved ones how much they mean to you. I made this sweet little card using GWP stamps from The Angel Company. The inside is stamped with the sentiment, “With all my heart”.
Currently, I’ve been participating in a bible study that is focusing on love. God’s love for us and how we are designed to forward that love from ourselves to each other. This study has made Valentine’s Day more special for me, less commercial. I designed this card for my husband. I want him to know how loved and cherished he is.
Forward your love and have a wonderful, meaningful day.
Pemberley Bay Matchbook Kit
At Tuesday’s Valentine Stamp Camp I had a door prize drawing. Since the stamp camp was an open house style event I couldn’t draw the winner until everyone had participated. So I’m publishing it here for those who may have left before the drawing took place.
The door prize was a Pemberley Bay Matchbook Kit from The Angel Company. It is a beautiful kit that once assembled makes a sophisticated 4-1/2 x 7 inch mini scrapbook.
The winner of this beautiful kit was Daisy H.
If you’d like to purchase a matchbook kit, just click the link or picture above to be directed to my secure TAC website.
This treat box is just another take on a box I did back in the fall. Here is the link. It’s just an example of how changing the stamps and cardstock and ink colors puts a whole new spin on the same old project. I stamped the heart sprig with red ink and colored in the hearts with a red marker. Then I added Crystal Stickles for dimension and sparkle. I filled it with my favorite heart chocolates and now it is ready to give to my loved one.
All supplies for this project are from The Angel Company.

It has been over a week since I’ve been able to find the time to create. 😦 I’ve been itching to get into the paper, inks and glues. Alas, I’ve had other obligations. So this afternoon I sat down to relax and create. This is another journal made out of half of a composition book.
I can’t get enough of these journals. They are perfectly sized… approximately 7-1/2 x 5 inches… not too big and not too small. They fit perfectly in your purse or backpack. It is super easy to make. I cut the cardstock to size and paste it to the outside and inside covers with YES paste. I used a fine sanding block to remove any paper or glue residue from the cover’s edges once the paste has dried. (I usually let mine set a couple of hours.) I then dragged the edges in Charcoal Palette ink to cover any imperfections. I wrapped the gold organdy ribbon around the cover twice and tied it in a bow. I stamped the three words on the front cover in Noir Palette ink. That’s it… super easy!
Stamp Set: Dance With Your Spirit

I scrapped these cute wooden blocks for my daughter, Anne. She loves playing with building blocks and I thought these would be perfect for her room, which is pink, green and white. They measure 3 x 3 inches and are 1-1/2 inches thick with beveled edges. I got them from the Oriental Trading Company scrapbook catalog. They were very reasonably priced and came in a package of 6.
I started off by spray painting them white. I then pulled out a variety of odds and ends cardstock scraps that matched her room colors. Each cardstock base measures 2-1/8 x 2-1/8 inch. I then used a 1-7/8 scallop square punch to make the next layer, except for the A. I used a 1-3/8 square punch to punch the piece of vellum. I centered and adhered all the cardstock layers on to the blocks using YES paste (the best stuff 🙂 ). I then used the Pewter Press Metal Alphabet from The Angel Company to spell out “Anne”. I also adhered them to the blocks with YES paste. I then used Princess Brads, Tropical Mini Brads, Paper Posies and Mimi Ribbon from The Angel Company for final embellishments.
Annie does love them. It has been hard keeping her from using them in her construction projects.
