Rescued Treasure!

Look at my latest find!!  Aren’t they beautiful!?  This vintage china set is from Contour China of Japan.  The pattern name is Picardy.  I love these gorgeous pink roses.  I wish I could have found more pieces.  I wish I new when this pattern was produced.  By the shape and style I am assuming in the 1960’s.  Does anyone know?  Or could you direct me where I could find out more information?

Pink Roses Scrapbook Page

Here is another sweet picture of my daughter at one week old.  I took a diagonally cut piece of pink striped scrapbook paper and pink rose printed vellum and adhered them to a white  6″ x 6″ page of scrapbook paper.  I placed the cropped picture (4-3/4″ x 4″) in the middle.  The 2 journal-ed corner tags are stamped in pink with a rose background stamp (retired, from Stampin’ Up!).  I attached them with gold mini brads.

Another super simple page!

Pink Rose Beaded Bracelet

I’ve decided to participate in a craft show this next Saturday, June 21st.  It will be located in the Walmart parking lot in Brownsburg, IN.  The entry fee proceeds are going to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.  This was a last minute decision so I’ve been busy this weekend getting stuff together.  I’m planning on selling my beaded jewelry and stamped greeting cards. It is the first time I have participated in a craft show so it’s all new territory.  I am making lists and checking them twice, but I just know that I’m going to forget something.  If any one has any suggestions for me please email me.  kandy@kandyskeepsakes.com  In the mean time, here is one of my beaded bracelets.  It is made with pink crackle glass and metal rose beads with a toggle closure.
